Ms Susan Leathem is a female Dental Hygienist.
Sue is committed to making your hygiene experience first class, and this is reflected in her care and compassion for her patients. Sue has come to our practice highly recommended and has been with us now for 6 years, working full time.
Sue has over 30 years experience in the dental field. This has included many years of dental assisting, reception and practice management duties. During her years as a Dental Assistant she has at times volunteered her services to the Royal Flying Doctor Service, which provided dentistry to outback communities in S.A.
Sue has given educational group talks to preschool children in regards to dental care, and has volunteered her services many times at the Royal Adelaide Show in promoting oral health. With Sue’s extensive knowledge and commitment to dentistry she has fulfilled her ambition by continuing studies to graduate as a Dental Hygienist. On completion of her degree Sue was awarded the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler award for demonstrating excellence in skills and patient care.
Sue is a member of the Dental Hygiene Association of Australia (S.A. Branch), and continues to attend professional development seminars to expand her knowledge and skills.
