ADOH, BOH (Adel), Oral Health Therapist
Ms Nara Johnson De Carvalho is a female Oral Health Therapist who speaks German, Portuguese and Spanish (as well as English).
Nara is a dental hygienist as well as a dental therapist. She graduated in the Advanced Diploma of Oral Health (Dental Hygiene) from TAFE SA and after working in a specialist children’s practice , her passion for children developed even further. So much that she decided to also complete the Bachelor of Oral Health degree from the University of Adelaide to expand her role in children’s dental care.
Nara embraces our children’s program here at BDS and like Amy, she also aims at making a child’s first dental experience as fun as possible and a positive one to remember. Her experience in children’s practice makes the visits as easy, and as relaxed possible with her calm, gentle nature making children feel at ease.
Nara has also got experience in specialist periodontal practices and is very interested in the prevention and management of gum and jaw-bone disease for children and adults.
