Ms Nadine Smit is a female Dental Hygienist who speaks Afrikaans (as well as English).
Prior to becoming a Dental Hygienist, Nadine Smit served in the South African National Defence Force for 8 years. Once she made the move to Australia, she studied a Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Newcastle and completed her degree in 2014.
Nadine has practiced within private clinics for over 5 years and brings a wealth of knowledge to her patients. While Nadine is fascinated with all things teeth, she is particularly passionate about treating periodontal disease. She is always staying up to date with the latest dental technology and aspires to extend her scope of practice with periodontal laser therapy.
Nadine also enjoys the social aspect of her work and takes an interest into getting to know her patients. She says, ‘their humour always brightens up my day!’.
