Katie is a Dental Hygienist and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapists with over 25 years' experience in the dental care industry, graduating in 2006 as a Dental Hygienist. She is a member of the Dental Hygiene Association Australia and the Australian Association of Orofacial Myology. Katie is passionate about preventative dental care and maintaining good oral and general health in a holistic and caring manner. As a Dental Hygienist Katie’s role involves helping patients with their preventative dental care needs, gum and periodontal disease. Katie has completed training in Advanced teeth Whitening and loves helping patients achieve confident smiles. Katie is passionate about a team approach to oral health and works closing with her team to achieve optimal results for patient care. Her moto is 'prevention is better than cure'. Katie has experience and knowledge in orthodontics and studied Orofacial Myofunctional therapy in 2012. From there a passion was ignited and her business's Thumbsucking Solutions and Eastern Orofacial Myology where established. Katie has a passion for promoting the growth of health smiles in children and establishing form and function in patients of all ages to live healthy lives.
