Ms Amy K Chandler is a female Oral Health Therapist.
Before becoming an Oral Health Therapist, Amy worked as a dental assistant for eight years. Over the years as an assistant, she enjoyed continuously learning and developing her skills and knowledge but wanted to do more. “So this led to me taking the next step in my dental career – applying to the Oral Health Therapy course at Curtin University.”
She graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science (Oral Health Therapy) – with Distinction. Amy always looks forward to furthering her knowledge by taking professional development courses each year.
As an Oral Health Therapist, Amy is dual trained as a Therapist to provide care to children in all aspects of dentistry from regular check ups to restoring teeth, as well as working alongside our dentists as a Hygienist, to offer patients regular preventative care scaling appointments, through to periodontal treatment of gum disease.
What Amy finds most rewarding about her job is helping people achieve their oral health goals and making them feel at ease during appointments. Her gentle yet thorough treatment ensures patients leave feeling clean and fresh.
