Mr Matthew Mician is a male Oral Health Therapist who speaks Slovak (as well as English).
Matthew was born in Adelaide and was educated at Southern Vales Christian College. He then went on to follow his passion in dentistry and was awarded the Bachelor of Oral Health where he received clinical distinctions for his restorative work. Matthew has a strong belief that prevention and high quality management coupled with gentle and respectful dental care are keys to keeping his patients happy and healthy throughout their lifespan. It is this gentleness and quality work, which sees many of his young patients leaving with a smile.
As an Oral Health Therapist, Matt performs most of the children's dentistry at tooth 32 as well as aesthetic restorative dentistry, whitening, dental hygiene, periodontal management and maintenance. He endeavours to stay at the forefront of new knowledge and procedures and constantly updates his scientific and clinical knowledge to provide the best up-to-date best care for his patients.
As well as working at Tooth32, Matt also dedicates time to pass on some of his experience and passion for dentistry as an employed clinical tutor for the Bachelor of Oral Health program at the University of Adelaide.
