Miss Shelly Wiltshire is a female Dental Hygienist.
Born and raised in Newcastle, Shelly entered the dental industry as an assistant. In this time her passion for oral health grew and in 2015 she furthered her career by graduating from Newcastle University with a Bachelor of Oral Health.
Her friendly nature and gentle approach puts patients at ease when they come in to see her. Shelly is here to motivate and encourage her patients in the prevention, maintenance and treatment of periodontal disease. With scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments and oral health instruction being her main services, she can also provide dental x-rays, fissure sealants, teeth whitening, some basic orthodontics and make bleaching trays, mouthguards and occlusal splints.
Shelly is also very passionate about children and believes that early intervention is key to their overall growth, health and development. Children should start coming to the dentist as soon as possible as they transition from their baby teeth to their adult teeth. Regular visits will familiarise them with the environment and minimise any anxieties they may have. With Shelly’s help, your children will develop a greater understanding of the importance of excellent dental habits.
