Dr Yuky Cheung is a female General Dentist who speaks Cantonese and Mandarin (as well as English).
Dr Yuky graduated from The University of Melbourne, School of Dentistry, with Honours in 2013.
After graduating from university, Dr Yuky was elected to be one of the eleven candidates in Victoria to participate in the dental graduate program. She commenced her career working in the public dental health services where she had the opportunity to provide care to patients with a diverse range of dental needs. Since then, Dr Yuky had been working in both private and public dental sectors.
Dr Yuky enjoys all aspects of general dental treatments such as cosmetic dentistry, root canals, crown and bridge, gum treatments, sleep apnoea & snoring management and minor oral surgery including wisdom teeth extractions. Dr Yuky seeks evidenced-based approaches to all the treatments and keeps up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry. Her attention to details and commitment to lifelong learning has led Dr Yuky consistently delivering quality dentistry.
Dr Yuky is calm and gentle with her patients. She also understands that some patients have dental fear. Therefore, she wants to help the patients to alleviate their fears step by step. Dr Yuky is a certified provider of nitrous oxide sedation which is a recognised method to alleviate anxiety in these patients. Working with children is another passion of Dr Yuky. With her kind and joyful nature, she makes a child’s dental visit fun and interesting.Dr Yuky is a registered member of Australian Dental Association. She had also completed the surgicalmaster® course training in crown lengthening surgery.
