Dr Michael Zhang is a male General Dentist.
Dr Michael Zhang obtained his dental training at University of Melbourne, graduating with honours in 2010. He was also awarded the prestigious Dean’s Honours List for excellent grades throughout the course. Dr Michael has worked in private dental practice in metropolitan Melbourne for over 10 years and is highly experienced in all aspects of general dentistry. He has developed a special interest in restorative dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry over the years.
Dr Michael takes pride in his gentle and calming approach to dental procedures with great attention to detail and has built up a large following of patients whom have a fear of the dentist. He believes being a good listener and taking time to understand his patients needs and making them feel at ease are the keys to building rapport and patient’s confidence with each dental visit. Dr Michael regularly attends advanced courses and conferences in Australia and overseas to better serve his patients. His research paper “Bonding to Glass Ionomer Cements Using Resin-based Adhesives” was published by Operative Dentistry, one of the world-renowned journals for clinical dentistry. Dr Michael is a member of Australian Dental Association and is registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Dr Michael was raised in the local area, attending both local primary and secondary school before being selected for Melbourne High School, where he completed VCE with an ENTER of 99.90. As a local resident, Dr Michael is dedicated to creating and delivering healthy and beautiful smiles to the people, family and the community, using his skills, experience and top-class technology.
