Dr Henry Song is a male General Dentist who speaks Mandarin (as well as English).
Dr Henry Song is our principal General Dentist. He received his dental qualification in 1992 (BDS) and then trained and worked as an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon overseas. He retrained at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne during 2006-07. After working a short period in the Royal Brisbane Hospital health district he moved back to Adelaide. Dr Song also worked in private clinics around Adelaide for 7 years before he starts working at Campbelltown Dental Health surgery.
He researched nerve regeneration and pain mechanism in neuroscience to help better understand pain control. He was awarded a doctor degree (PhD) in neuroscience from Flinders Medical School in 2004. He has published his research in leading UK and US academic journals such as: Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (1995, 1997, 1998), Journal of Neuroscience (2004), Journal of Neurochemistry (2006), Gastroenterology (2009) etc.
Dr Song has been accredited the privilege to perform dental treatment under general anaesthtics in the North East Community Hospital.
