Dr William L Bruce is a male Specialist Prosthodontist.
A long-standing member of Toowoomba community for over 20 years serving and supporting Toowoomba residents' specialist dental needs.
Dr William Bruce graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1977. After a period of general practice in the United Kingdom, he returned home to Brisbane to commence specialist training. He graduated with a Masters of Dental Science in 1984 and was accepted as a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 1985.
Bill commence specialist private practice in Level 7, 141 Queen Street in 1985 with Dr Kevin Joyce, and has continued to serve his patients and referring dentists at the same premises continuously for the past three decades. He also has maintained a branch practice in Toowoomba for over 20 years.
Bill is an esteemed member of the dental community – he maintains a consultancy position as a Lt Col in the Australian Army and has active memberships in several dental study clubs. He has served as an internal and external examiner for six postgraduate students and has lectured nationally in the field of Prosthodontics. Bill has published in both the Australian Dental Journal and the Journal of Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry. At the dawn of his fourth decade of specialist practice, Bill is still passionate about technological developments in the field of Prosthodontics, and evidence-based dentistry.
