Dr Vijaya Molloy is a female General Dentist.
Dr Vijaya Molloy spent the first part of her life in New Zealand. From a very early age she had ambitions of pursuing a career within the medical field that would allow her to help others. This ambition was eventually realised in 1995, when she graduated from Otago University dental school (New Zealand). She has expanded her professional knowledge working in a number of private practices in both New Zealand and Australia.
Over the years Vijaya has held locum positions on the Central Coast. In 2015 she set up practice at the Invitation to Health medical centre. After the practice outgrew the limited space she relocated to the centrally located Mariners Building in Tuggerah.
Dr Molloy also spends a number of hours every year attending dental training courses. Over the last few years she has completed post graduate training in the areas of implantology, sleep medicine, laser dentistry, the treatment of jaw pain and orthodontics. Her aim is to provide her patients with a comprehensive approach to treatment. This includes addressing not just the teeth but also lifestyle aspects such breathing, diet and sleep. Amongst her studies Vijaya has also completed a certificate course in Clinical Hypnotherapy. This skill is useful for helping to alleviate the anxiety some experience when attending the dentist.
