Dr Tristan J Taylor is a male General Dentist.
Originally from Melbourne, Dr Tristan made the trip north in his early years to the Sunshine Coast before finding his home in Brisbane.
Dr Tristan was part of the foundation cohort of Griffith University’s dental school alongside Dr Sara, earning dual degrees of a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science (B.Oral H. (D.Sc.) and graduate diploma in Dentistry (G.Dip.Dent). On graduation, Dr Tristan was the recipient of the inaugural Oral Health and Dental Science Medal. A rare medal of excellence awarded to those who received first class honours and who displayed a very high standard of academic results throughout their degree program.
He is passionate about great dental health and brings with him a wealth of dental knowledge as well as a positive, friendly personality.
Dr Tristan has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and a skill for surgical work such as wisdom teeth removal and dental implants. His experience of working at Longreach and Barcaldine Hospitals several weeks (6-7) per year between 2009-2016 including doing the general anaesthetic list for paediatric dentistry and wisdom tooth removal is testament to his dedication and skill.
He has also worked 12 weeks every year in Emerald since 2010 including the general anaesthetic list for wisdom tooth removal and has undertaken forensic dental training to be called upon on large-scale natural disasters.
As part of ongoing commitment and involvement to the dental community, Dr Tristan is also a member of CADMUS Study Club, one of Brisbane’s oldest dental study clubs.
