Dr Turk Mohanathas is a male General Dentist who speaks Tamil (as well as English).
Dr Thuvarakan Mohanathas is known as “Dr Turk” by his patients, friends and relatives. He is a proud local dentist, having completed his high school and university education in Bendigo. As he grew up in Bendigo, he always wanted to work as a dentist in his hometown.
Dr Turk undertook his degree at LaTrobe University, Bendigo and participated in rural clinical training in Melton, Mildura and Wodonga during his degree. He currently works as a general dentist at Bendigo Dental Group in Bendigo(previously known as Mosa Dental), and Cohuna Dental Clinic, Cohuna. As a general dentist, he is able to provide dental treatment to all members of the community. He particularly enjoys treating children and young people. Dr Turk prides himself on keeping up to date with the latest innovations and technologies in dentistry. He attends workshops and seminars to ensure his patients receive the most advanced care and treatment. When he is not practising dentistry, he has several hobbies including modifying vintage cars and bicycles. He is also a sports lover and a keen cricketer. Dr Turk has treated many sport-related injuries including knocked out teeth. He stresses the importance of wearing a custom-made mouth guard to prevent injuries to the mouth and teeth.
