Dr Thomas KK Elliot is a male General Dentist.

Dr Thomas Elliott is originally from the United Kingdom, where he completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate dental training. Dr Elliott began his dental career graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Bristol in 2006 and subsequently, through examination, gained Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2008.

Following his undergraduate training, Dr Elliott spent several years in general dental practice, including an 18-month period based in Perth and subsequent role as a Senior House Officer in an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department (UK), gaining useful experience in various aspects of surgery.

With the development of singular interest in Prosthodontics, Dr Elliott commenced a 4-year prosthodontic postgraduate training program at Guy’s Hospital (King’s College), London, under the tutelage of Professor David Bartlett, a world-renowned authority on tooth wear. Through formal examination, Dr Elliott completed the Master of Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics (MClinDent) with Distinction and was awarded the Membership in Restorative Dentistry for Prosthodontics (MRD Pros). The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh awards the latter title, and it was on successful completion of this Prosthodontics exam that Dr Elliott gained entry onto the UK register.

Dr Elliott has joined the team at the Centre For Prosthodontics as an associate in 2017, and is interested in all aspects of prosthodontics, but particularly the challenges of restoring function and aesthetics in patients presenting with extensive tooth wear. Dr Elliott has a keen interest in the topic of digital dentistry, as it is a subject on which he had completed his academic research thesis. This area of dentistry is exciting because it is progressing so rapidly and is already having a significant impact on various treatment modalities.

Dr Elliott has general registration to practise as a dental practitioner in Australia and is in the process of seeking accreditation with the Dental Board of Australia to be recognised as a specialist prosthodontist in Australia.
