Dr Dean Kim is a male General Dentist who speaks Korean (as well as English).
Dr Dean Kim obtained his dental degree from University of Otago with credit, in New Zealand.
After obtaining his dental degree, he worked as a dental and maxillofacial house surgeon in a public hospital, and also in private practices in New Zealand, and has joined South Gippsland Dental Clinic in 2012.
Dr Kim strongly believes that a beautiful form relates to harmonious function in nature. His passion in dentistry is towards maintaining and/or restoring the natural beauty and harmony of the teeth and the smile. In his clinic, he enjoys treating complex aesthetic and functional rehabilitation of the mouth, applying both well researched traditional techniques as well as the most recent innovative ones. Giving respect to nature, he adopts minimally invasive approaches in application of veneers, crowns, bridges and CAD-CAM restorations(computer generated ceramic restorations using CEREC®).
He is a firm believer that learning never ends, and is also heavily involved in continuing education. He travels internationally for higher education and training, and he has successfully completed the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD)’s accreditation exam, and also a Royal Australasian Academy of Dental Surgeon’s primary exams with distinction. Currently he is undergoing through Master’s degree in Aesthetic Dentistry, through King’s College London.
