Dr Steve Stramotas is a male Specialist Orthodontist who speaks Greek (as well as English).
Steve is married with 3 lovely daughters. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Dentistry and his Masters in Dentistry at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. This was followed by a Masters Degree in Orthodontics in 1999. Steve has lectured both nationally and internationally and is an Honorary lecturer at the University of Sydney, tutoring and lecturing the post graduates for the past 10 years. He is actively involved in teaching the Lingual orthodontic technique both to the post graduates at the University and in private practice. It is his passion and enjoyment of the orthodontic profession that has driven him to continuing his education. This has allowed him to make use of the latest orthodontic techniques such as Lingual (behind the teeth) braces (Incognito) and he is a platinum provider of the orthodontic Invisalign treatment system. It is this that has made our practice the success it is today.
Steve is an active member of the Australian Orthodontic Board (AOB) and the past president of two Dental study groups. He is currently the president of the Australasian Lingual Orthodontic Society and an active member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists and American Association of Orthodontists.
Steve loves working with both Children and Adults alike. He is extremely approachable and is always happy to answer any questions or concerns regarding early orthodontic intervention.
