Dr Soraya A Eakins is a female General Dentist who speaks Spanish (as well as English).
Dr Eakins has a Bachelor degree in Dental Surgery from The University of Zulia, Venezuela (1989), and a Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) in Dental Science from The University of Melbourne (2002). She completed the accreditation for overseas trained dentist at the Australian Dental Council in 2004. She has performed as general dentist, clinical demonstrator, lecturer and researcher for more than 16 years, and has also held several positions within the public and private sector, in rural and suburban areas, in Australia and overseas. Dr Eakins has published various scientific articles in the area of dental materials in international journals, and has participated in oral and poster presentations in international events. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association and the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry.
