Owen is a general dentist registered with the ADA and has an eye for technical quality. After graduating from UWA with a Bachelor of Dental Science degree, he has since worked in private practice, while also being invited to tutor at the dental school for several years. Owen is currently conducting research at UWA investigating the use of Virtual Reality technologies for teaching dental students hand skills required for restorative dentistry.
