Dr Nigel J Souter is a male Specialist Endodontist.
Dr Nigel Souter graduated Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 1997. Nigel then worked for 4 years in general dental practice in Mildura in this time successfully completing his primary examination from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS). Nigel then moved to Melbourne to undertake specialist training in Endodontics at the University of Melbourne and was in the inaugural group of graduates for the new Doctor of Clinical Dentistry degree that he completed in 2004. Nigel then worked in private specialist practice in Melbourne CBD and Geelong, as well in the public sector at the Royal Melbourne Dental Hospital.
In 2008 Nigel completed the final examination in the general stream for the RACDS and was subsequently admitted as a Fellow of the college. For a change of scene Nigel then moved to Perth for 1 year working in specialist practice at Perth Endodontics. The lure of the Melbourne lifestyle was too much and in 2010 Nigel returned to Melbourne, reacquainting himself with Endodontic Associates.
Nigel has taught undergraduate students in endodontics at the University of Melbourne and is currently a clinical demonstrator for the post-graduate students in the endodontic program. Nigel has been on the Australian Society of Endodontology (Vic Branch) committee since 2004 and is the current President of the society.
