Dr Mehran Djamshidi is a male Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
Dr Mehran Djamshidi completed his training as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at the University of Adelaide in association with Royal Adelaide Hospital, in 1980.
He took a position at the University of Papua New Guinea, as Head of Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and consultant to Port Moresby General Hospital. During this time, he gained significant knowledge in the management of major Oral and Maxillofacial surgical cases. He then moved to Sydney, where he was working as an associate in private practice and consultant to Sutherland Public Hospital. In 1989 he moved to Rockhampton and ran a successful private practice for a period of over twenty years, and was a consultant to both Rockhampton and MacKay Public Hospitals. He made a significant contribution to the training of medical and dental registrars.
Dr Djamshidi has over thirty years’ experience in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a current member of Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr Djamshidi’s treatments are claimable through Medicare, as well as private health insurance.
