Dr Luke C Willis is a male General Dentist.
Luke’s first introduction to the field of Dentistry was through his father in law – a highly experienced dentist who loyally served his patients for over 30 years. It was through observing his father in law’s practice, that the career of dentistry struck Luke as the perfect family friendly long term career – and also offered Luke the opportunity to practice high level patient centred care, and undertake the type of dextrous, intricate and aesthetic treatments that appeal to his artistic and creative side.
Dr Luke completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry & a Masters in Dentistry at LaTrobe University Victoria – degrees he competed whilst working nights and weekends as a Paramedic, and alongside raising his young family with his wife Gina who also works in the health care field.
Luke enjoys all aspects of dentistry. He believes in providing high quality, comprehensive and most importantly – patient centred care, built upon a relationship of understanding, trust and respect. Luke’s responsibility to his patients is to help them make informed decisions regarding their care, and to work with them to achieve excellent dental health.
He places a strong emphasis on prevention, and for this reason, he considers his relationships with his patients to be of vital importance; through which his patients can maintain their oral health throughout life. Luke understands the type of anxiety and trepidation often felt by patients in relation to their dental health and dental treatment, and given his background as a Paramedic, Luke conducts himself in a calm and confident manner which greatly assists in easing peoples anxiety.
Dr Luke goes to great lengths to treat each and every one of his patients with the same high quality gentle dental care he would want for his own family.
