Dr Joshua D Boag is a male General Dentist.
Josh, long time Northern Rivers local, attended Murwillumbah High School and went on to study at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. First completing a degree in pharmacy, but realised he was more suited to the field of dentistry. Josh completing the five year Dentistry degree including placements in Tweed Hospital, Bathurst Base Hospital, Ballina Hospital, and a two week volunteering project in the remote villages of Nepal.
After completing his degree, Josh moved to Sydney where he received invaluable mentorship and experience from excellent senior dentists in a challenging family dental practice in the western suburbs.
Josh loves the coastal lifestyle, and is a passionate surfer in his spare time, hence he jumped at the opportunity to return home to the North Coast, and has since become the owner of Byron Family Dental Care. When not in the surf, or at work, Josh spends quality time with his young family.
Dr Josh Boag loves his field of expertise and enjoys practicing in all areas of modern dentistry, including wisdom teeth extractions, root canal therapy, implants, and integrating IV sedation. He continues to keep up with modern dental knowledge and technology, most recently completing further studies in implant dentistry.
