Dr John Xiong is a male General Dentist who speaks Cantonese and Mandarin (as well as English).
Dr John grew up in Auckland and Sydney before moving up north to Cairns to complete his dental training. He graduated with First Class Honours and the Australian Society of Periodontology (QLD Branch) Medallion Prize. He has extensive experience in the private and public sectors in Queensland and New South Wales. He has also been involved with the supervision and teaching of undergraduate dental students as a clinical educator at James Cook University. Dr John is well-equipped in managing a wide range of dental problems and will endeavour to work with you to address your dental needs.
John enjoys practicing all facets of general dentistry and is a firm believer in preventative dentistry. He has always been committed to practicing as holistically as possible and understands that there is a very strong link between a person’s dental health and general health. Dr John enjoys helping people overcome their fears of the dentist through a calm and gentle approach. He is well versed in managing a range of dental problems such as the replacement of old fillings, broken teeth, bad breath, and toothaches. John strives to provide the highest quality of care for everyone by regularly participating in continuing education programs.
