As Dr Mc Hugh states: “ I feel that practicing cosmetic surgery and oral and maxillofacial surgery gives me a better insight into anatomical areas where there is often immense overlap. These two specialities share and inspire a particular artistic as well as scientific approach to enhancing facial and body form which ultimately is extremely gratifying as a surgeon. I am constantly amazed at the aesthetic and visual results of surgery and am delighted when the patient’s expectations are met and very often exceeded, especially as an improvement in their self esteem is also so very noticeably evident.”
