Dr Jacquelyn M Fechney is a female Specialist Paediatric Dentist.
Dr Jacqui is known her warm and engaging personality. She combines her excellent clinical education and knowledge with a strong passion for providing community-based care, making her a valuable addition to our practice.
Dr Jacqui’s journey in dentistry began in New Zealand, where she grew up on a farm and later graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Distinction from the University of Otago. Her commitment to paediatric dentistry led her to Sydney, where she completed her specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Sydney.
Her professional experience is extensive, having held positions as a registered specialist paediatric dentist at both the Westmead Centre for Oral Health and the Children’s Hospital at Westmead for the past seven years. Additionally, Dr. Jacqui has served as a visiting paediatric dentist at Hunter New England Health, where she gained further experience in managing a wide variety of paediatric dental cases.
Dr Jacqui is deeply passionate about making the dental experience positive for children and their families. Her special interests include dental trauma, dental anomalies, and all aspects of comprehensive restorative care. She is dedicated to ensuring that each child receives personalised, compassionate care, tailored to their unique needs.
