Dr Scott Smith is a male Specialist Orthodontist.
Graduating with a Dental Degree (BDS) from the University of Adelaide in 1992, Scott completed his fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS) in 1999. Scott then dedicated 8 years to paediatric dental care as a hospital staff dentist, lecturer to the University of Adelaide and head of the dental unit at the Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Experienced in working with children and teenagers, Scott is a fantastic communicator.
In 2006 Scott completed a 3 year full time postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent (Ortho)), qualifying him as a specialist in orthodontics and moved to Tasmania with his wife Julianne and 2 boys to enjoy working in a smaller community, embracing the outdoor activities on offer in Tasmania. Dr Smith is an avid road cyclist and mountain biker. When he is not working in orthodontics, you will often spot him out and about around Launceston and the north coast on his bike.
