Dr Hirasankar Bhowmik is a male General Dentist who speaks Bengali and Hindi (as well as English).
Dr Bhowmik practices dentistry with passion and excellence. A known perfectionist, he is highly-skilled and has substantial experience in a wide range of simple to complex dental treatments. At the same time, Dr Bhowmik brings a high level of compassion to his treatment of patients. He is an expert in treating dental-phobic patients and clearly explains to them the procedures to be used. Dr Bhowmik works to connect with each patient he treats and to make each person feel at ease while being treated.
Dr Bhowmik got his dental training in India. After graduating from Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai, he acquired first rank in the state post-graduate entrance examination and continued his post-graduate training in prosthodontics at GDC, Nagpur. Apart from general dentistry, his work focused on advanced prosthodontics including full mouth rehabilitation, aesthetics and even maxillofacial rehabilitations. His speciality training and interest enabled Dr Bhowmik to take care of a wide range of patients’ dental needs.
After his post graduation, Dr Bhowmik worked in both private practice and academics. He has been a successful practitioner as well as a reputed faculty member teaching Prosthodontics to under graduate and post graduate students. His quest to achieve excellence in dentistry inspired him to push his boundaries. He cleared Australian Dental Council’s qualifying examination with ease in July 2013 and got registered as a general dentist.He migrated to Australia in 2014 an started working in a private practice.
In addition to his high procedural skills, Dr Bhowmik gives true meaning to the concept of service to others. Dr Bhowmik takes utmost care of justify his treatments based on sound scientific knowledge, patient factors and ethical values.
