Dr Frank Huang is a Taiwan-born Australian who came to Australia with his parents when he was 11 years old. He is an Adelaide graduate with more than 22 years of outside-school private practice experience. He has two bachelor degrees in dentistry, honour degrees in bachelor of dental surgery, and a bachelor in dental science. He has done all his dental degrees in Australia.

He has done a detailed research thesis on Gow-Gate anaesthetic technique under the strict supervision of Professor Townsend and Professor Goss. He has current, up-to-date certificates for operating digital root canal therapy machines and implants (Ankylos, Biohorizon Laserlok, Osstem, Nobelbiocare, Straumann, Branemark, Imtec, MDI, MDL, MILO, Endure Implants). He stays on the cutting edge of his profession by attending hundreds of hours of local and international courses on cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, surgical grafting, oral surgery micro-dentistry and all modern general dental techniques. He is an accredited and certified ASID, ICOI implantologist.
He has a lot of passion for complex periodontal surgery, vertical and horizontal hard tissue and soft tissue regeneration, and total mouth rehabilitation. As part of the general oral rehabilitation, Dr Frank Huang has had extensive training in dental braces for kids and adults, including complex orthodontic treatments involving skeletal anchorages.
