Dr David Nguyen is a male Specialist Endodontist who speaks French and Vietnamese (as well as English).
Dr David Nguyen-Nhon completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy at Monash University in 2010 with the Monash Scholarship for Excellence and Equity. He then graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide in 2015. After working in private practice as a general dentist in Melbourne, David commenced his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics at the University of Melbourne in 2019.
During his postgraduate studies, his research on post-operative pain following root canal treatment was published in the Australian Endodontic Journal. David's subsequent research has also led to his ongoing consultancy role in the clinical evaluation and regulation of current endodontic materials in Australia.
Having previously practiced endodontics in Hobart, David returned to Melbourne in 2022 to commence his role as the Endodontics co-convenor for the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the University of Melbourne. In addition to private practice, David also works part-time as an endodontist at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne, treating public patients from metropolitan and rural Victoria.
