Dr David YC Chen is a male General Dentist who speaks Mandarin (as well as English).
Dr David Chen graduated in 2002 from the University of Queensland. He has worked in both public and private dental surgeries over the years. In 2008, he established Ipswich Dental Care after taking over the business from Dr John Fisher.
He takes the time to talk to his patients and ensures that they understand all possible treatment options. Dr David Chen will provide his patients with all their treatment options and information, and will support them the entire way through. He is not one to rush a patient into a decision and always takes the time to answer any questions and concerns they may have concerning their dental care.
He has a great ability to communicate with them on their level. His chair side manner is very calming and relaxing. Knowing the value in good dental care for kids, Dr David Chen started the tooth fairy program at Ipswich Dental Care. This program allows kids to have fun and laughter while receiving valuable oral examinations. This helps to set the little ones up with good oral health habits for life!
He has undertaken a course in progressive orthodontic seminar series which allows him to take on most orthodontic cases. He is currently furthering his studies and practices in placement of dental implants, endeavouring to offer the service to our patients in the very near future. Over the years, Dr David Chen has actively participated in Volunteer Dental treatment for the disadvantaged people in the community – organised by the Tzu Chi Charity organization. He attends the Annual Dental Fair where they provide dental treatment to the refugees settled in the local communities.
