Dr Daniel J O'Connor is a male Specialist Orthodontist who speaks French and Irish (as well as English).
Daniel was born and educated in Cork, Ireland, where he graduated as a dental surgeon in 2002.
He subsequently moved to London where he soon became Head Dental Associate at the prestigious Family Dental Practice, where he stayed for four years. During this time, Daniel developed his interests in cosmetic and preventive dentistry, and passed the entrance examination into Specialist training at the Royal College of Surgeons England.
A subsequent move to Hong Kong saw Daniel complete his 3 year specialist orthodontic residency under Prof. Urban Hagg and Prof. Bakr Rabie at the Prince Philip Dental Hospital.
This program had a strong emphasis on dentofacial orthopaedic treatment for adolescents and various approaches for adult treatment including cosmetic and invisible (Invisalign, Damon Clear, Incognito lingual) braces.
After graduating with a Masters in Orthodontics (MOrth) from the University of Hong Kong, he also successfully completed membership to the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (MOrthRCSEdin).
In addition, his research was internationally published and he presented at the European Orthodontic Conference in 2010.
