Dr Claudia G Losonski is a female General Dentist who speaks Hungarian and Romanian (as well as English).
I was born and raised in Transylvania in the western part of Romania. Ever since I can remember I wanted to be a dentist. That dream came true in 1993 when I graduated from the University of Timisoara. In the course of my career I have worked in a variety of settings and circumstances, including a one year residency in a maxillo-facial unit in Timisoara upon graduation, re-training in the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne, treating adults and children with special needs at the Geelong Hospital under general anaesthetic, caring for disadvantaged patients in government clinics, and providing comprehensive dental care in private practice.
The single most characteristic feature of my career has been continuing professional development. I have spent years and countless hours enhancing my skills for the benefit of my patients. One of the highlights in this respect has been participation in the POS orthodontic training programme, completing both the basic and advanced classes. While I have been involved in all branches of my profession, my areas of special interest are preventative dentistry, children’s dentistry, orthodontics and restorative aesthetic dentistry.
