BDS (Adel), General Dentist
Dr Chris Pazios is a male General Dentist.
Dr Pazios is a graduate of the University of Adelaide and has 25 years of experience in general private practice. He first opened this surgery in 1994 with the passion and dream of having the practice evolve over the years; and it certainly has. 19 years later the practice now has two full time dentists, a hygienist and all the accompanying staff, which ensures that the surgery can deliver 'world's best practice'.
Dr Pazios was accepted as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists in 2007. He was also the President of the Australian Dental Association (SA Branch) in 2005. He is still actively involved with the association as a committee member. He also sits as a current Board Member of the University of Adelaide's Dental Research and Education Fund.
Dr Pazios is a strong advocate of continuing professional development. As a result he has received many certificates for attending courses covering all aspects of dentistry. He also tutors the final year dental students in general dental practice at the University of Adelaide. All of this allows Dr Pazios to integrate his vast professional experience with contemporary techniques and technologies, ensuring his patients receive the best treatment possible.
Apart from general and cosmetic dentistry, Dr Pazios also has a keen interest in the emerging field of dental sleep medicine. He is trained and qualified to treat sleep disorders such as sleep apnea using dental appliances. He is a member of the Australasian Sleep Association.
Dr Pazios believes in giving back to the community. He is involved with non-for-profit work in developing women's soccer in South Australia and is a keen sportsman himself, still playing soccer for Adelaide University.
