Dr Cherian Thomas is a male General Dentist who speaks Malay and Malayalam (as well as English).

Dr Cherian Thomas was born in Tanzania but grew up in India. After qualifying with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1992 from Kasturba Medical College, Dr Thomas went on to gain his Master of Dental Surgery in Orthodontics in 1997. Thereafter, he maintained the position of a consultant at various well known hospitals and private practices for close to a decade. In 2011 Dr Thomas came to Australia, gaining his MRACDS in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Australia. Dr Thomas has completed his Dental Implant course from the University of Miami, adding to his training and experience in this area. He has been the principal of Kooringal Dental since 2012 and is the first digital smile design member in Wagga Wagga.

Dr Thomas has many years of experience in treating numerous general and more advanced dental issues and loves seeing people of all ages at our family oriented dental practice. You will find he is a very gentle, calm and understanding dentist who is easy to chat to. He is absolutely committed to providing the very best and most up-to-date customised services to everyone visiting the practice and is continually updating his extensive skills and knowledge with ongoing education. His aim is to ensure that whenever possible you can receive all the dental treatment you need in the comfortable, caring and familiar surroundings of Kooringal Dental, without having to travel miles for advanced procedures.

Having trained and worked along with Derek Mahoney, Dr Thomas is able to treat young children with early interceptive orthodontics, including Myo-Functional treatment, as well as teenagers and adults who wish to straighten their teeth.
