Dr Chelsea R Hirschmann is a female General Dentist.
I am a dedicated and passionate dental practitioner currently working in private practice in Mackay, QLD. Originally from Cairns, FNQ, I completed my Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University in Cairns, where I developed a strong foundation in comprehensive patient care.
Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience, including working in government roles at Darwin Hospital and Health Service and Mackay Hospital and Health Service. These positions have allowed me to treat a wide variety of patients and gain expertise in diverse dental care settings.
My approach to dentistry is centred on providing high-quality, patient-focused care in a welcoming environment. I have a keen interest in family-friendly dentistry, including paediatrics and special needs dentistry, ensuring that patients of all ages feel comfortable and supported. I also have a strong focus on cosmetic dentistry, including composite veneers, tooth whitening, and botulinum toxin treatments, helping patients achieve their ideal smiles through tailored treatment plans.
I have extensive experience in emergency dental care and restorative dentistry, including the management of dental trauma, dental extractions and minor surgical procedures, along with restorative treatments such as restorations, crowns, and bridges. Additionally, I am committed to preventative dentistry, including regular check-ups, oral hygiene guidance, fluoride treatments, dental sealants, the use of sports mouthguards, and occlusal splint therapy, to help patients maintain optimal oral health.
