Dr Carolyn LT Ng is a female Specialist Orthodontist.
Dr Carolyn Ng attained the Bachelor of Dental Science degree at the University of Melbourne with Deans Honours and the Ernest Joske Prize for Best All-Round Graduate. She practiced for five years in general dentistry in both government and private dental practices across Victoria.
Throughout her training and practising career as a dentist, Carolyn has always been passionate about preventive dentistry, occlusion (the way teeth fit together) and overall aesthetics. When these facets of dentistry are combined, as in orthodontic care, an individual's confidence and self-esteem is restored and their lifestyle is transformed.
Inspired by this potential, Carolyn was successfully admitted to undertake additional training and research to obtain the Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry degree in specialist orthodontics at the University of Sydney. During this time, she received the DENTSPLY DClinDent Research Prize awarded by the University of Sydney, as well as the John Reading Prize for best treated case at the Australian Society of Orthodontics (NSW) clinical day.
She is a member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists and the World Federation of Orthodontists.
Carolyn's special interests include dentofacial orthopaedics, interdisciplinary and coordinated patient care and the implementation of the latest advances and technology for optimal dental and facial aesthetics.
