Dr Bernie Yong is a female General Dentist who speaks Bahasa and Malay (as well as English).
Bernadine (Bernie for short) undertook her dentistry studies at the University of Melbourne, where she helped patients in public health. Prior to that, she had a career as a legal drug dealer (a.k.a pharmacist) all across Queensland, and continues to this day. Her experience in pharmacy inspired her passion for helping patients achieve the very best health outcomes possible for themselves. Bernie enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but in particular, preventative, aesthetic, and curiously, periodontics as she believes that good oral health starts from good gum health. She has a cheerful but calming presence, and has helped many anxious patients in the dental chair. One day, she would like to do full mouth rehabilitations to help more people achieve their perfect smile, and is currently enrolled in the General Dental Residency program to progress to that goal.
