Dr Baljit Bahra is a female General Dentist who speaks Hindi and Punjabi (as well as English).
Dr Bahra was born and raised in England. She graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and started her own practice in Wandsworth Common, South-west London, which she ran for over 10 years. She moved to Australia with her husband and two young children over 10 years ago to live the Aussie lifestyle. Since then, she has been with the Dental Rooms team and is now joint Principal with Dr Kavanagh.
Dr Bahra is a firm believer in continuous education to maintain and improve skills and techniques required to provide treatment at the highest standard. She has undertaken post-graduate education at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London, a world-recognised centre for advanced education and training. Dr Bahra has attended numerous ongoing courses on a wide range of areas such as endodontics, periodontics, crown and bridge, cosmetic dentistry, implants (Australian society of Implant Dentistry) and dento-facial aesthetics. She is a member of the Australasian Academy of Dentofacial Aesthetics, and is a member of the Australian Dental Association.
Dr Bahra understands that many patients are extremely anxious and nervous when visiting the dentist. She will take the time to listen to your apprehensions, needs and wishes, and give you detailed explanations and a choice of solutions designed to meet your needs. She is a very empathetic and caring dentist, always putting the needs and concerns of the patient first.
