Dr Arunaruban Arunasalam is a male General Dentist who speaks Tamil (as well as English).
Dr Arunaruban Arunasalam (Dr Arun) was born and raised in Sri Lanka where he graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University of Peradeniya in 2014. He worked as a general dentist within both private and public practice in Sri Lanka before relocating to Australia. Dr Arun completed his Australian Dental Council registration in 2021 and has been warmly welcomed to the Maven Dental Hervey Bay team as a passionate associate dentist!
Dr Arun’s kind and compassionate demeanour allows his patients to feel comfortable before and during treatment, especially those who suffer from dental anxiety. He places a heavy focus on patient satisfaction and is a big believer in patient centred care.
Combining over six years of experience and extensive clinical knowledge, Dr Arun loves getting his teeth stuck into all aspects of dentistry, however, is particularly interested in oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and oral health education.
Dr Arun is committed to continuously updating his skills through on-going professional learning ensuring he is using modern technique and technology on his patients. He also holds the position of Associate Lecturer with University of Queensland, which enables him to mentor and supervise final-year dental students on placement in the Oral Health facility of Wide Bay Health.
