Dr Amylia K Bal is a female Specialist Prosthodontist who speaks Malay (as well as English).
Dr Bal’s holistic approach to dental rehabilitation includes preventative and risk management strategies to address not only the consequences but also the cause of each patient’s dental issues. Graduating from the University of Adelaide in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery, Dr. Bal went on to work in private practices in both regional and metropolitan NSW. A keen interest in dental rehabilitation with fixed and removable prosthetics led her to undertake a doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) at the University of Sydney in 2021.
Dr Bal is a member of various professional organisations, including the International College of Prosthodontists (ICP), the Academy of Australian and New Zealand Prosthodontists (AANZP), the Australasian Osseointegration Society (AOS), and the International Team for Implantology (ITI). She was also the founder and director for a time of the Sydney University (ITI) Study Club.
