Dr Amanda Lin is a female Specialist Paediatric Dentist.

Dr Amanda Lin is a Sydney local who completed her Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) at the University of Queensland, graduating as Valedictorian. Her early career with Hunter New England Oral Health fostered her interest in paediatric dentistry across hospital, community health, and school dental settings. During this time, she also received commendations in the Primary Examinations of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS). Dr Amanda undertook her specialist Paediatric Dentistry training through the University of Sydney (USyd), based at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health and the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. During her training, she was awarded the Faculty of Medicine and Health Executive Dean’s Prize for Academic Excellence, and the Australasian Academy of Paediatric Dentistry (AAPD) International Association of Dental Research (IADR) Travel Research Award.

Dr Amanda is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children and their families. Her special interests include the management of complex dental trauma, developmental dental anomalies, and helping children build long-term confidence in the dental home. Alongside her role at Macarthur Paediatric Dentistry, Dr Amanda continues to work at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, where she is involved in guiding Paediatric Dental Registrars, Residents and medical students. She remains committed to ongoing professional development as a member of organisations including AAPD, the Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry (ANZSPD), American Academy of Paediatric Dentistry (AAPD), RACDS, and the International Association of Dental Traumatology (IADT).
