Dr Alex Pham is a male who speaks Vietnamese (as well as English).
Dr Alex Pham is a passionate dentist who joined the Maven Dental Subiaco team in 2021. Dr Alex loves welcoming new patients into his surgery where he can assist them on their oral health journey. Creating confidence by building relationships with his patients and seeing long term improvement in their oral health when they come back for their regular dental check-ups brings Dr Alex great joy.
Born and bred in South Australia, Dr Alex studied a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide and graduated in 2019. After his studies, Dr Alex’s desire to learn how to surf led him to Perth. He has spent significant time volunteering his services to vulnerable patients at St Patricks Community Support Centre and also worked within government practices where he gained thorough experience in clinical treatment.
Dr Alex is committed to his personal development and regularly takes part in continuing professional development. He has also joined the Clinical Oral Health Advisory Committee which reviews policies for state dental services.
His special areas of interest and expertise are in the fields of holistic and preventative dentistry as he believes this aspect of dentistry helps his patients live worry and most importantly, pain free! He enjoys taking a practical approach to patient education ensuring his patients (especially children) learn the importance of setting up a regular oral health routine to ensure a healthy, functional smile! Dr Alex wishes to ensure all his patients feel at ease while in his care and uses a number of anxiety management techniques to settle nervous patients.
