Dr Alex M Dancyger is a female General Dentist who speaks French (as well as English).
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dr Alex Dancyger has established herself as an integral member of the Luke Dunn Dental team. In addition to her Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Dr Dancyger has also completed a Bachelor of Science at the York University in Toronto, Ontario, where she was awarded an Honours designation. Dr Dancyger later received a Masters degree of Immunology and Infectious Diseases from Memorial University.
In addition to having published numerous, peer reviewed scientific papers in prestigious dental journals, Dr Dancyger has also presented at local and national dental conferences as well as delivering lectures to dental students at James Cook University since 2015.
Dr Dancyger’s long-standing and ongoing commitment to the academic world is a priceless asset to her fellow practitioners and staff at Luke Dunn Dental, as well as to patients and the wider community. Dr Dancyger’s dedication to continuing professional development further guarantees that our methods of practice remain at the cutting edge of scientific advancements and are reflective of the accepted gold standards in dentistry. Dr Dancyger is an active member of the ADA (Australian Dental Association) and possesses a keen and steadfast interest in the furtherment of professional standards across the dental industry.
Whilst enjoying all aspects of general dental practice, Dr Dancyger has developed many areas of specific interest including paediatric (adolescent) dentistry and dental implantology.
