Dr Alan H Nerwich is a male Specialist Endodontist.

Dr Alan Nerwich graduated from the University of Sydney in 1986 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and was awarded Honours. He obtained his Masters of Dental Science degree in Endodontics from the University of Melbourne in 1992. He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the special field of endodontics.

Alan is a Past President of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists (ANZAE) and has served as Vice President of the Australian Society of Endodontology (ASE) in NSW. Alan is the current Oceanic Regent for the International Federation of Endodontic Associations (IFEA).

Alan has published in international peer reviewed scientific journals. His landmark research paper based on diffusion dynamics of calcium hydroxide is one of the most cited articles in endodontic literature.

Alan has sat on multiple committees for the Australian Dental Association and has been regularly involved with Continuing Education in Dentistry at the University of Sydney where he co-presents microscope courses for post-graduate endodontic students and GP’s. He has lectured locally, nationally and internationally and has presented hands-on workshops for emerging endodontic technologies.

Alan regularly attends national and international conferences and meetings to maintain his knowledge of current research and techniques, enabling him to provide the highest level of skill and cutting edge technology in his practice.

Outside of endodontics, Alan enjoys travel and spending time with his family. He is a keen skier and cyclist and enjoys spending time as his wife’s assistant gardener.
