Dr Michelle Huang is a female General Dentist who speaks Cantonese (as well as English).

Dr Michelle is a compassionate and understanding dentist who tries her best to create a positive experience for her patients. Informed by a deep understanding of dental fear and anxiety, her approach is centred around creating an environment where her patient’s needs are heard and understood. Her goal is to work together with all patients to create excellent long term oral health.

“I grew up in Perth and studied here as well. When I graduated I went up to Geraldton for 4 years because I was itching to get away from home, and since then I’ve worked in many different clinics, treating people from all different backgrounds.

What I’ve learnt is that no matter where you go, everyone is the same- people want to be really listened to and cared for in a kind way.

People who are especially scared of the dentist want to know that you’ll remember it’s a big deal for them, and that you’ll be relaxed, gentle and patient with them.

I want my patients to walk out thinking- wow that wasn’t as bad as I thought, I wouldn’t mind going back to the dentist again next time.”

Dr Michelle obtained her dental degree at the University of Western Australia with Honours in 2014. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with an interest in minimally invasive and adhesive dentistry, and loves helping kids of all ages develop a positive attitude towards seeing the dentist.

She is also committed to using her skills to help others and has volunteered with St Patrick's Clinic in Fremantle and Project Yeti in Nepal.
